B.A. Goodjohn‘s second novel, The Beginning Things (Underground Voices), is due for publication in November 2015. Goodjohn’s story “Mille Fleur” appeared in Issue Three of SmokeLong Quarterly.
Matt Bell’s second novel Scrapper was released by Soho Press this week. His stories, “How the Broken Lead the Blind Until They Both Become Something Else Entirely” and “The Folk Singer Dreams of Time Machines,” were featured in Issue Fifteen and Issue Twenty-One respectively.
Art Taylor‘s debut novel On the Road with Del and Louise was published by Henery Press this month. His story, “Up, Up and Away,” was featured in Issue Thirty. He has also served as a weekly guest reader.
Susan Rukeyser‘s debut novel Not On Fire, Only Dying was released this week by Twisted Road Publications. Her story, “Squall,” was featured in Issue Thirty-Four.

Gay Degani’s story, “Heaven Spoils,” was named a finalist at the 2015 Lascaux Flash Fiction Contest and will be published in The 2016 Lascaux Prize Anthology.
Megan Giddings’ chapbook Arcade Seventeen will be published by The Atlas Review’s TAR Chapbook Series in 2016. Her story, “Every Bump, Every Stone,” was published in Amazon’s Day One, a weekly literary journal dedicated to short fiction and poetry from emerging writers. And her story, “I Invented Longing,” is featured in Vol. 20 of Crab Orchard Review.
