Joy Baglio

Joy Baglio’s short fiction has appeared recently in Tin House, The Iowa Review, TriQuarterly, New Ohio Review, PANK, and elsewhere. She is a 2018 Bread Loaf Scholar in Fiction and the recipient of grants from The Elizabeth George Foundation and The Speculative Literature Foundation. She serves as associate fiction editor of West Branch, a Grub Street writing instructor, and founder/director of Pioneer Valley Writers’ Workshop in Northampton MA, where she lives. She’s at work on a collection of short stories and her first novel, How to Survive on Land, which is taking her to Alaska at the end of summer for research.
